Privacy
This page covers frugalvue.com, the site you're on. Each household's FrugalVue app has its own privacy page, linked from its sign-in screen.
What this site collects
Only what you type into the Request access form: your name, email, and any optional answers and message. Nothing else: no cookies, no analytics, no advertising or tracking scripts, and no third-party fonts or services. Like any web server, the host keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site running and stop abuse.
Where your request goes
Your request is sent as an email to the FrugalVue team at West Technical Services and isn't stored on this site. We use it only to reply to you about FrugalVue. We don't sell or share it, and we won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Please don't include account numbers, balances or passwords in the form.
Deleting your request
Email info@frugalvue.com and we'll delete your request and our replies.
FrugalVue itself
- Each household's FrugalVue has its own site and its own database; data isn't pooled with other households.
- Bank access is read-only, through SimpleFIN Bridge. FrugalVue never asks for or stores bank passwords.
- Account numbers are kept as the last 4 digits. Secrets (bank connection, email password, AI keys) are encrypted at rest.
- Only people the household's owner adds can sign in.
- AI is optional, with the household's own key. Only what a question needs is sent to the provider they chose.
